Connecting people who need food with the food they need is the core of what we do. Our pop-up food pantries keep us connected with the communities we serve. We provide fresh and healthy foods while honoring the humanity and dignity of who we serve.
We gave 100 bags of free food for Thanksgiving in partnership with New Life Christian Fellowship Church in Chicago Heights, Illinois. Our bags contained fresh and healthy foods including collard greens, corn on the cob, green beans, and sweet potatoes.
We gave 150 boxes of free food from the USDA Farmers to Families Food Box Program in partnership with Lilydale First Baptist Church in Park Forest, Illinois. We also gave boxes of food to South Suburban PADS, a local nonprofit focused on preventing and ending homelessness.
